There’s no better way to understand life at College Square than to hear from the people who call it home. After 13 happy years as a resident, Lin Turner reflects on what makes College Square such a special place to live—from its bright, welcoming homes and beautiful views to the friendly community, independence and support that have made it feel like home for over a decade.
I have always enjoyed living at college square.
My flat is lovely and bright and airy with a grand view of the sky and old roof tops; not forgetting the cathedral and church too!
The community of neighbours is a great mix of folk to take an interest in and to develop friendships with ….over coffee, in the garden or at a quiz night or BBQ.
We have a helping hand whenever we should need it from our Scheme Managers who are around every weekday keeping the day to day running of the square going smoothly.
As an independent resident, I can come and go as I wish and also be involved in as much, or as little as I wish. Everything is met with a friendly understanding from staff and neighbours alike.
I am very happy here and my 13 years here just go from strength to strength !
