Lynne Jardine

Clerk

Lynne joined us as Clerk in January 2023. Other than a year abroad and away at University she has lived in Suffolk all her life. With a background in property and business she deals with the day to day repairs and maintenance of the property portfolio, deals with the the accounts and payroll, takes minutes and arranges meeting amongst other things. Lynne enjoys rural family life; dog walks and the occasional game of tennis.

Leah Morris

Scheme Manager

Leah joined Guildhall Feoffment in 2021, bringing with her a varied background including a career in care and time spent working as a postie. Her hands-on, practical approach and natural warmth make her a valued member of the team, and she has built strong, genuine connections with residents. Known for her kindness and great sense of humour, Leah brings positivity and compassion to her role every day. Outside of work, she enjoys taking part in her weekly park run and spending quality time with her family. She is also a proud owner of two Hungarian Vizslas, Honey and Lola, who are occasional visitors to Guildhall Feoffment—much to the delight of many residents.

Rachel Brocket

Scheme Manager

Rachel joined the Guildhall Feoffment as Scheme Manager in April 2024, after spending 28 years working in the meat industry, where she finished her career as a Commercial Director. While her new role is a world away from what she did before, Rachel happily admits she has never felt more content and truly finds her work fulfilling. She especially enjoys the sense of community at the Guildhall Feoffment, valuing the friendships, daily interactions, and, of course, the many laughs shared with residents. Rachel has also taken on event planning and loves adding activities to the diary that she knows residents will enjoy. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys socialising, exploring adventures in her motorhome, and spending as much time as possible with friends and family.

Lisa Osborn

Scheme Manager

Lisa spent many years working as a nurse before moving into a more recent role as an HR Manager for her husband’s company. Having lived in Suffolk most of her life, she joined our team in 2025 and is a new member of the charity. Lisa plays a key role in supporting both Health & Safety and HR, but it’s the time she spends with residents that she treasures most. She loves the interaction, listening to their life stories, and meeting their families. Lisa is passionate about the team she works with and has even said this is possibly the best job she has ever had. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys swimming, spending time travelling in her campervan with her dog Fletcher and husband, making memories with her friends and family. She has just welcomed her second grandchild to the family, so is kept busy being 'Mema' [Grandma] !

Staff are DBS (Enhanced) cleared with checks completed on a 3 year cycle.

Clerk

The Clerk play a crucial role in the governance and administration of the charities and is responsible for delivering compliance with legal duties, attending trustee meetings, taking minutes, providing administrative support, doing the accounts amongst other things.

The Clerk manages the almshouses, and the role typically involves providing administrative support, overseeing repairs and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Clerks play a crucial role in the effective operation of these charitable organisations, acting as the main point of contact for residents and community members.

Scheme Managers

Our Scheme Managers are responsible for overseeing and managing our residential schemes, ensuring the wellbeing of residents and the smooth operation of the almshouses. They assist the Clerk in many tasks ranging from drafting policies to arranging almshouse repairs and maintenance.
